.) Perhaps the most important rule of being a Weyrling is that you must consider your dragon's feelings at all times. In other words, when your dragon is too young to understand, there will be no intimacy beyond hand holding. This could harm your dragon, and a Weyrlingrider should not make such a mistake. (Please note that I will not enforce this out of character as long as you roleplay the consequences of these actions in character.) Your dragon is your first priority and you must never neglect them. (Translation: I expect to see them in threads.)
.) Weyrlings are expected to do all of their chores on time, without fuss or excessive complaining. Due to their dragon's needs, a Weyrling has a very busy life, flitting between their lessons and tending to their dragon. Free time is very little, so make sure to consider that when roleplaying. Additionally, all lessons must be attended. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your dragon through plot reasons as it will be considered inactivity. You have been warned.
.) Attempting to fly/chew firestone/go between/anything that you have yet to be taught to do is a great risk to yourself and your dragon and is forbidden. (Like with the others, I won't enforce this one if you roleplay it realistically, but if you get caught expect to get in trouble with the Weyrlingmaster.)
.) Because young dragons require constant care, Weyrlings are requested to strongly consider not attending firelizard hatchings should any occur during their dragon's first Turn of life. While it is not forbidden, know that both the dragon and firelizard will require considerable care. Similarly, Weyrlings are forbidden from taking fosterlings until their dragon is fully grown. They won't have time for it anyway.
.) Weyrlings are to stay inside the Weyr at all times, unless given express permission by the Weyrlingmaster, the Weyrwoman or Weyrleader. This is for your own safety. Along the same lines, Weyrlings are expected to sleep in the Weyrling Barracks until they are old enough to pick their own weyrs.
